Aaghaz 2025 : Sports and Cultural Fest in GIMS

On the eve of Aaghaz 2025 ( Sports and Cultural Fest in GIMS) Government institute of Medical Sciences on 22nd of February 2025 had organised Kavi Sammelan for the faculty and  students of MBBS, Nursing and Paramedical College & Institute Of Paramedical Sciences under the flagship of Director Dr. Brig. Rakesh Gupta

The program commenced with welcoming guests by Director GIMS Dr Brig Rakesh Gupta , Dr Shivani Kalhan, Dr. Anurag Srivastava ( Dean Adminstration , GIMS) , Dr. Pragatisheel Mittal ( Dean Works , GIMS) 
Followed by Lamp Lighting and the stage was taken over by the well-known poets namely Dr. Aditya Kumar, Dr. Madhumohini Upadhaya, Bibak Jaunpuri, Satesh Maghup , Shrimati Namita Naman, Swadesh Yadav .

The artists mesmerised the audience with their poetic skills and instant humour. The Kavisammelan team was also thrilled by the response they received from the dynamic audience.

The event was full of comedy, petriotism, and other heart-warming themes. All of the poets captivated the crowd with their amazing jugalbandi. The performances were captivating, but what really stuck out was the poetry by Shri Bibak Jaunpuri ji . He made the most impression on the audience and was applauded for his lyrical poems

This evening filled everyone with curves, humour, and expression. It was a laughter-filled
The enthusiasm of hundreds of students in the event organized ignited with loud applause and screaming laughter in response to the Kavi sammelan
Highlighting the importance of poetry,  Director GIMS said that poets possess the ability to eloquently express their emotions, enabling the people in comprehending the essence of the inherent message. Poetry stands as a significant pillar in conveying the narrative of our struggle for independence.  Poetry is a beautiful medium of expression that not only enthrals  people but also creates a positive vibes in society and generates awareness among people.
The spectacular event ended with words of wisdom and students continuously elicited thunderous applause and cheers.
