World Physiotherapy Day was marked with great enthusiasm at Grand OMAX Society

Noida: World Physiotherapy Day was marked with great enthusiasm at Grand OMAX Society, Sector 93,Noida where around 70 to 100 residents, including children, adults, and senior citizens, actively participated in a special health camp organized to spread awareness on the importance of physiotherapy and preventive healthcare.

Theme of the year2025 :Healthy ageing by World confederationof physical therapy 

The event was graced by Mr. Pankaj Singh Ji, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he applauded the efforts of physiotherapists and healthcare professionals in enhancing community health. He emphasized the growing need for physiotherapy in today’s lifestyle, where back pain, posture-related issues, and stress-induced conditions have become increasingly common.

The health camp was jointly organized by Apollo Hospital, Apollo Pharmacy, Apollo Clinic, and Clove Dental, who came together to provide free consultations and screenings. Services included blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, dental examinations, BMI assessments, posture correction guidance, and physiotherapy counseling.

Residents of all age groups expressed their appreciation for the initiative. Many senior citizens remarked that the camp gave them practical tips to improve their mobility and reduce joint pain. Parents found the children’s activities educational, while working professionals benefited from ergonomic advice tailored for desk jobs.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Pankaj Singh Ji said, “Healthcare begins with awareness. Physiotherapy is not only about treatment but also about preventing injuries and improving quality of life. I am glad to see such community-driven initiatives.”

Organizers from Apollo Healthcare highlighted that preventive health checkups and lifestyle modifications can significantly reduce the risk of chronic conditions. Representatives from Clove Dental stressed the importance of oral health in overall well-being.
