New Delhi: International Formula Car Racer, actress, and social influencer Manisha Ram Kelkar was honoured with the prestigious Honour of Ashoka Award 2026 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, in recognition of her remarkable contributions to motor sports and entertainment industry.

The award was presented at the Indo-International Intellectual Conclave 2026, organised by the Charles Walters Council for Innovation & Research (CWSIR) under the leadership of Abhishek Pandey, Director of CWSIR and Convenor of the conclave. The Honour of Ashoka Award recognises individuals who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, integrity and meaningful contributions across diverse sectors.

"This award is like a pat on my back that motivates me to achieve more for our country, commented Manisha Ram Kelkar". 

Making a powerful statement of Indian heritage and contemporary elegance, Manisha graced the occasion in an exclusive handloom saree by House of Sodesii, the premium handloom for women who lead founded by Preeti Juneja. The look was artistically conceptualised by internationally acclaimed artist Chitwan Singh Nanda, Founder of Chit1 Studios.

The collaboration beautifully showcased how India's rich textile traditions can be reimagined through contemporary artistic expression, celebrating craftsmanship on one of the country's most prestigious recognition platforms.
