Architects discuss strategies for better city development using sustainable materials
Architects of GCA Alumni North (GCAAN) met to discuss strategies for better city development using sustainable materials.These architects are Alumni of Govt College of Architecture Lucknow. Realizing their contribution from building design, to policy, to landscapes, to villages, to rural areas, in different walks of urban India, the architects swore integrity to the cause of the common good. Leading architects with extensive professional and academic experience brought their strength together to support India in its walk to 2047. The GCAAN core team Ar. Dr. Harish Tripathi (Chairman), Prof. Anand Khatri (Vice Chairman), Ar. Dr. Yogesh Tyagi (General Secretary), Ar. Sarika Jain (Joint Secretary), Ar. Vipul Singh (Treasurer) along with the GCAAA Ar. Dr. Atul Gupta (President) brought together over 175 professionals. The alumni of GCA hold lead positions in several development authorities like DDA, GNIDA, NOIDA, YEIDA, are heads or part of several institutions like Apeejay Amity, Jamia Millia Islamia, GGSIP University, Accurate and have been academics interested in research and conferences in the past years. The event highlight was the presence of the Airport Authority Architectural, Astt. Gen Manager Arch. Ar. Anurag Mishra. Knowledge shared from several manufacturers who resolved to support the profession and shared their latest green energy products. The event was hosted by AIS at Holiday Inn New Delhi on 9.3.2024. GCAAN works with creative surge through their motto "Wanderlust, wisdom, brotherhood, and design are endless".
