Planting trees is not just about beautifying our surroundings, it's about creating a legacy for future generations - Dr Deepak

The Vivekananda School, Sector 69, Gurugram, celebrated Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary, known as World Students’ Day, with The Tree Man of Gurugram, Dr Deepak RameshGaur with Tree Plantation Initiative on the occasion of World Students’ Day on 15th October, recognized globally on the birthday of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the Tree Man of Gurugram, Dr Deepak RameshGaur, partnered with The Vivekananda School, sector 69, Gurugram to engage students in hands-on environmental stewardship.

The event featured a tree planting session where students of grades VI – XI learned not only about the significance of trees in combating climate change from the Tree Man himself but also got inspired by his journey and his never dying spirit. 

“Planting trees is not just about beautifying our surroundings; it’s about creating a legacy for future generations,” said Dr Deepak RameshGaur. “By engaging students in this initiative, we empowered them to be champions of the environment,” said the school Principal, Ms Archana Pandey
The Tree Man invited all students, educators, and community members to join this initiative and contribute to a greener future and motivated the students by sharing Dr Abdul Kalam’s famous quote: “Dream is not that we see in sleep, dream is something that does not let you sleep.”
