Physiomanthan 2025: Strengthening Schools, Sports, and Society through Physiotherapy

New Delhi: The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) and the IAP Women’s Health Cell successfully organized Physiomanthan 2025 on 13th and 14th September at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The event brought together physiotherapists, sports professionals, educators, and health experts from across the country under one roof to deliberate on the theme – “Following the Integrity of Schools, Sports, and Society.”

The two-day conclave featured interactive panel discussions, expert lectures, and live demonstrations, focusing on the critical role physiotherapy plays in building a healthier, stronger nation. Special sessions highlighted school health programs, early detection of postural issues in children, and injury prevention strategies for young athletes. Experts emphasized the need for collaboration between physiotherapists, schools, and sports authorities to create a supportive ecosystem for physical and mental well-being.

Physiomanthan also addressed women’s health challenges, spreading awareness about ergonomics, exercise during pregnancy, and rehabilitation after childbirth – empowering women to maintain optimal health at every stage of life.

Speaking at the event, IAP representatives stressed the importance of physiotherapy as a bridge between education, sports, and public health. They called for integrating physiotherapy awareness into school curriculums and sports training modules, aiming to build a healthier, injury-free future generation.

The conclave concluded with a pledge to strengthen physiotherapy outreach programs and to continue promoting wellness in schools, sports arenas
