SAMPOORNA GEETA PAARAAYANAM By Saadhaks of Geeta Parivar at Uttara Guruvayoorappan Temple 

Delhi: A large crowd of sevaks from Geeta Parivar gathered for the complete parayanam of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita at the Gokulam Hall of Uttara Guruvayur Temple, Pocket 3, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Delhi. In this program held from 7 AM to 11 AM, more than 80 Geeta Parivar devotees, sevaks and Krishna-devotees gathered with great joy, pride and enthusiasm to perform the sacred duty of group recitation and chanting of Srimad Bhagavad Gita.

As enumerated in the Bhagavad Gita , योगस्थः कुरु कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा धनञ्जय। सिद्ध्यसिद्ध्योः समो भूत्वा समत्वं योग उच्यते।।
yogasthaḥ kuru karmāṇi saṅgaṃ tyaktvā dhanañjaya । siddhyasiddhyoḥ samo bhūtvā samatvaṃ yoga ucyate।।

Led ably by Resmi Rajeev a dedicated band of Sewees got together to perform their duties with an evenness of mind, body and soul and decided consonance to overcome minor hurdles and hiccups, to arrange just everything for this divine event ! 

We had the good fortune of inviting the Melshaanti (Head Priest) lighting the devotional lamp with the sacred fire, to bless the commencement of this  auspicious occasion. The proceedings started with lighting of the traditional lamp by invited dignitaries – Dr. Ramesh Nambiar - President UGT, MV Haridas Vice-President Venugopal - Secretary along with functionaries present from Gita Parivar. Also present was Shri Babu Panicker, Chairman of Panicker's Travels, as our esteemed guest .

With the blessings of param-poojya Swami Govinda Dev Giri Maharaj and revered Ashu, Rupal Shukla guided the NCR Team to proudly host the inaugural Sampoorna Paaraayanam in Delhi. Such was the enthusiasm and fervour that the Gokulam Hall was echoing with the ethereal aura of chanting devotees in the audience, all through the more-than-3hours-long recitation, by well-versed Saadhaks on the stage !

Valsala & Resmi held centre-stage with their melodious  accurate rendition with active participation of Rajesh Arora, .All the while Swarabji Bhaiya and Satish Bhaiya ensured their personal touch, offering  steady help and care of the Saadhaks chanting on the stage, as well as all others present in the Gokulam Hall, with all necessary arrangements
