Chennai: UP Yoddhas, the franchisee owned by GMR Group went down to Gujarat Giants 30-38 playing match number 37 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 in their last encounter in Chennai of this season at the SDAT Multi-purpose Indoor Stadium. The game began with UP Yoddhas winning the toss and inviting Gujarat Giants to raid. Though Gujarat Giants drew first blood, but the Yoddhas raced their way into the lead with a multi-point raid from Pardeep Narwal and a super raid from Surender Gill. The game thereafter saw the giants not looking back earning back-to-back points maintaining their lead inflicting the second All-out on the Yoddhas with three minutes to go and the score card reading 26-34 to their favour. UP Yoddhas tried hard to make a comeback in the final three minutes but were unable to reduce the deficit as the game came to an end with the scorecard reading 30-38 to the favour of Gujarat Giants.
